PENSACOLA,
FLORIDA —Victor Camarena, son of Dorothy Redthunder Camarena
of Nespelem, Washington, is a member of the 2005-06 varsity
wrestling team at Pensacola Christian College. The Eagles
wrestling team participates in interscholastic competition
with other teams from the Southeast, Pensacola Christian
College is a liberal arts college enrolling students from
every state in the U.S. and more than 70 foreign countries.
Pensacola Christian College has an enrollment of approximately
4,400 full-time students in its undergraduate program and
offers over 70 programs of study.
Victor polished his Wrestling skills by attending a wrestling
camp, Washington Intensive, each summer for two years. It was
held at Lakeside High School in Nine Mile Falls, Washington.
“At the time; it was hard to come up with the cost of
wrestling camp, but now I see I made a wise investment in my
son’s future,” said Victor’s mom, Dorothy Camarena.
