U.S. BORDER PATROL/COLVILLE
TRIBAL POLICE—A Ceremony was held at the Siam Palace, Grand
Coulee Dam, WA., on Wednesday, April 19, as the U.S. Border
Patrol from Spokane, WA., presented awards and thanks to the
Colville Tribal Police for capturing a suspect on Feb. 19 that
resulted in the seizure of 85 pounds of marijuana and
apprehension of the suspect responsible for this cross border
criminal enterprise. The incident took place at Omak Lake.
Those officers receiving awards were: (Front row/L to R)

Phineas Haglin, Inchelium District Coucilman Terry Finley and
Chairman of the Council’s Law and Justice Committee, Chief

Alisha Howard, Sgt. Darrell Gordon, Commander Mike Kessler,
Sgt. Brian Phillips of Natural Resources Enforcement, and
Detective Sgt. Kevin Anderson. Unable to attend were: Officer
Ken Marcuson and Chief of Police Rory Gilliland.
